However, technology sometimes misbehaves... and at the most inconvenient of times! Do you already know how to operate POS (Point of Sale) systems and commercial multi-function machines? Can you accurately and efficiently enter customer information into a computer terminal? Can you patiently follow virtual directions from a tech support department to help get systems back online when they may go offline? Are you generally considered a "tech savvy problem solver" by those you've worked with... known to keep others calm while your proactively help with a trouble-shooting solution? Yay! Within the last few years, our clients represented have significantly expanded their store locations within their independently owned operations. Never. We are solely compensated by our invaluable network of The UPS Store franchise clients to exclusively represent their "Now Hiring" location(s) whenever needed.
Absolutely! The UPS Store franchise operations are independently owned and operated franchise businesses. Consequently, the pay rates often vary from location to location based on the competitive wages by level of position and as currently provided by similar employers in that area. In addition, some OKC clients provide commission and/or earned performance attainment bonuses. Full-time eligibility benefits may also be available based on the represented franchise operation. Be sure to further inquire at the close of your "by invitation only", mutually booked interview with us (if applicable).
Yes, with mutual consent in advance. If you are agreeable to this added OKC recruitment benefit option, we can also efficiently represent you (only if applicable) for other career opportunities within your area, if you were not selected as the "top candidate" for the position of which you had originally applied. However, it is required that our candidates pre-select this interviewing option during their interview booking process upon receipt of our emailed invitation. OKC will ONLY confidentially share our top candidates recorded interview(s) internally and with our OKC exclusively represented, The UPS Store Franchise Owners and/or their Sr. Center Management team. However, regardless of your interview with OKC being recorded or not, always be prepared to put your best foot (and friendly/professional image) forward whether using a computer, tablet, or phone during your mutually booked and scheduled interview with us. Moreover, if you are unable to participate in your interview for any reason, we do require a minimum of 24-48 hours' notice to reschedule, unless it is deemed an authentic, last-minute emergency. Otherwise, your applicant status in our system will be classified as a "no show" with any of our network of clients.

Consequently, our hiring team carefully analyses/evaluates all applicants based on the information provided (i.e. full completion of the online job application, up to date information including work history/resume, skill-set assessments, etc.) to determine the top candidates to interview for a specific job opening. Even if you are not invited to interview with us for a particular position, you could be asked to consider another position that our recruitment and/or represented hiring team believes might be a better fit for you.
Our clients' management teams, represented by us, are often extremely busy helping their store staff and valuable customers. They've wisely contracted with OKC to take their local "Top Talent" search for job openings completely off their plate, so they can focus on successfully running their businesses. They may not appreciate a job seeker's inability to follow directions, especially if he/she comes into their store "to apply" just to be redirected back to us.
